TSM are accredited to National Highway Sector Schemes 12A,B & D covering all types of carriageways and pedestrian management. All works are delivered in accordance with Chapter 8, New Roads and Streetworks Act (red book) and the latest best practice guidance from National Highways and other recognised bodies, taking into consideration site specific and stakeholder requirements.

When work is required on or near to a single carriageway, there will be an inevitable need for traffic control. At TSM, we offer a range of solutions for single carriageway working – taking into consideration the workspace required, carriageway widths, site lines, working duration, junctions and pedestrian crossings, we will offer a solution that is suited to your specific requirements. If workspace is non-achievable, we can apply for a road closure on your behalf. All of our highly skilled operatives carry CSCS and hold the relevant documentation to carry out these layouts.

The success of a sports event, concert, closing a pedestrianised city centre for works or re-routing pedestrian walkways relies heavily on careful planning. We will liaise with local authorities, emergency services and local stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of your event or work. We can supply and install a variety of pedestrian and crowd barriers, and we also supply marshals to guide pedestrians and banksmen to direct the traffic.

Careful planning, extensive experience and astute design are essential requirements when dealing with traffic, public transports and heavy footfall. With our proven experience in the specialism of traffic management, our wealth of knowledge can help your scheme to run as smoothly as possible.

Many temporary traffic management schemes require speed restriction initiatives to slow traffic through work areas; this can be enforced by the use of speed cameras and average speed cameras. There may also be the need to protect a workforce with barriers – with many variants available within the barriers market, we can advise on the most effective option to suit your needs and budget.

At TSM, we have an in-house sign making facility that can help you to keep your costs down if non-standard signs are required or you need Advanced Warning Signs in a hurry. This process has proven to be very useful in the supply of signs for event management and evening signing, and the re-use of signage can further help to keep costs to a minimum.
