TSM a Preferred Supplier for Coventry City of Culture 2021

We are delighted to announce that TSM has been selected as a Preferred Supplier for Coventry UK City of Culture 2021!

UK City of Culture is a competition run by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, with cities competing every four years to be awarded the prestigious title. The first UK city of Culture was Derry/Londonderry in 2013, followed by Hull in 2017.

In December 2017, it was announced that Coventry had been awarded the title for 2021, after competing against eleven other cities. It was awarded on the strength of the city’s diversity, youthfulness and opportunities from being so centrally located, and puts Coventry well and truly on a national and international stage, with its year in the spotlight running from May 2021 – May 2022.

Coventry City of Culture Trust is the independent charity responsible for delivering the extraordinary year and appointing preferred suppliers to support their activities during this time. There was a huge response to their request for preferred supplier applications and we are very excited to have been selected.

As a result, you’ll notice we’re now using the approved Coventry City of Culture logo and are very proud to do so, representing our commitment to supporting Coventry during this momentous year.

It promises to be a very exciting 12 months ahead, with a rich and varied programme of events and initiatives, including music, dance, theatre, food, poetry and street celebration, bringing people together from across the region. Devised to create lasting relationships between neighbours and communities, decrease isolation and increase pride, the event has assumed even greater importance given the current troubled times and will provide much needed resources for local artists, organisations and communities, while securing a lasting legacy for the city and its people well into the future.

We look forward to supporting the City and the Trust during this important year of celebration. To find out more about the programme of events, please click here.
