Lead Estimator

Location: Midlands based from head office in Worcestershire
Hours: 40 - Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive salary dependant on qualifications skills and experience with company benefits

About the role of Lead Estimator:

The lead Estimator role is a key role within TSM, assisting the commercial and operational team in ensuring efficient contract delivery and assisting with the preparation and compilation of new enquiries and existing contracts.

Responsibilities of a Lead Estimator:

  • Managing and building Client relationships
  • Updated of customer register
  • Managing client portals, inclusive of prompt responses / data upload
  • Reviewing client challenges in relation to submissions
  • Liaising with Operational Leads to understand pre-bid scheme requirements
  • Review of Traffic Management Design specification and requirements
  • Compiling Target Cost backup substantiation sheet for clients
  • Undertake review and pricing compensation events
  • Attend ECI, pre-start and progress meeting on site
  • Attend weekly and monthly update meetings between commercial and operations

What we look for in a Lead Estimator:

  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Experience working within a commercial setting
  • Knowledge and experience preferably 2 years of Temporary Traffic Management
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office – excel, word etc
  • Attention to detail and ability to think laterally and problem solve
  • Ability to build new and existing relationships with Clients and suppliers
  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Leadership skills to manage multiple schemes/ projects and work to time scales
